A Cartography of Silence and Trauma

Each piece charts the fragmented terrain of trauma—what is hidden, what is endured, and what resists erasure. Rather than offering resolution, the pictures linger in silence, asking: How do we carry what cannot be said? How can art give shape to the unspeakable? My art challenges the unconscious, breathing life into a world where trauma hides within the psyche. The darkness is intentional—provocative, raw, and unflinching. Viewers will find themselves emotionally moved and mindful of the impact of trauma, addiction, and mental health through the eyes of the beholder… which is me, Clare.
